This is the README.TXT  file for Mocha TN5250 for Nokia 3650/6600

Mocha TN5250 is an application for the Nokia 3650/6600 Platform.

Mocha TN5250 makes it possible to connect to an AS/400 Mainframe and 
emulate a 5250 terminal.

Mocha TN5250 Features: 

  - Supports all standard 5250 features.
  - Device name support.
  - Direct keyboard input from the phone keyboard
  - Edit key can be used to create special 5250 functions, function keys and scroll.
  - Screen mode 24*80.
  - Landscape mode.
  - Auto login.
  - 9 different codepages.
  - Free upgrades to new versions of the product.

*** Installation ***

    - unpack files with a zip utility, into a temporary catalog.
    - From Windows explorer click on the TN5250.sis file and your
      Nokia PC Suite program will complete the installation. 

*** Configuration ***
    - The configuration is stored on the device when you exit the program. Notice
      first when menu - TN5250 - close is selected, will changes to the 
      configuration be stored.

**** Keyboard ****

Keyboard overview

    The Edit key has a pen icon. This key can be used together with other keys.

     edit-key quick down/up   : next key will be a CTRL key. See below

      ctrl 1: toggle insert mode
      ctrl 2: field+
      ctrl 3: field -
      ctrl 4: help
      ctrl 5: reset
      ctrl 6: erase input
      ctrl 7: clear
      ctrl 8: next field
      ctrl 9: page down
      ctrl 0: page up

     edit-key down + an arrow : The terminal will scroll.
     edit-key + +             : swap terminal size/orientation.
     edit-key + shift         : change font size

     edit-key + 1 - 9         : function keys f1 - f9
     edit-key + 0             : function key  f12

     shift key: change mode: lower/uppercase or digits. Keep shift down for 
                some time to enter the digit mode

     + key will give a standard dialog text box. Useful for special characters, or just to
     type an AS/400 command.


*** Limitations ***

    - Only screen size 24*80


*** Uninstallation ***

    On the Nokia 3650 select Tools - Manager - TN5250 -  Remove. If it fails
    restart the phone, and try again. 
    On the Nokia 6600 select Manager - TN5250 -  Remove. If it fails
    restart the phone, and try again.
