This is the README.TXT  file for Mocha Telnet for Nokia E61

Mocha Telnet is an application for the Nokia E61 Platform.

Mocha Telnet makes it possible to connect to an UNIX host with 
the TELNET/SSH protocol and emulate a VT220 terminal.

Mocha Telnet Features:

  - SSH-1 and SSH-2.

  - 2 font size options, with easy toggle

  - Screen mode 24*80.
  - Auto login with scripting parameter.

*** Installation ***

    - unpack files with a zip utility, into a temporary catalog.
    - From Windows explorer click on the telnet.sis file and your
      Nokia PC Suite program will complete the installation. 

    If the installation fails with an error as "certificate error":

      If you get a certificate error when attempting to install 3rd party 
      software on your S60 3rd Edition smartphone , it means that you have
      not enabled installation of unsigned SIS files.

      Go to Tools --> App. Manager, choose Options --> Settings and 
      set Software installation to All and Online certif. check to Off.

        

*** Configuration ***

    - The configuration is stored on the device when you exit the program. 

    As default Telnet keys send the values for a VT220 terminal, but it is possible 
    to define other values for all function keys. 
    The syntax for none display characters is

        \xxx

    where xxx is a 3 digit octal value. Example: ESC which is 0x1b is \033
    
**** Keyboard ****

    Scroll: Press the blue function key next to left shift + joystick
    
    The fonts size can be changed using the blue function key + space bar 

    For special characters use key Chr

*** Limitations ***

    - No printing
    - No Double character size
    - No Display increased intensity 
    - No clipboard

    If using grps and TCP on Nokia phones, the TCP stack may
    crash if the session is defined as nodelay, which is normal
    for character oriented terminal emulation. Therefore the keyboard input
    will have a small delay. 

*** Uninstallation ***

    High light the telnet application, and use the select menu to remove the program
