This is the README.TXT  file for Mocha VNC

Mocha VNC is an application for the Nokia 9500 phone.

It enables you to have full, secure access to your work computer through an 
Internet or network connection. Using your phone, you can connect to 
your Linux/Mac or Windows computer and see the files, programs, and resources 
exactly as you would if you were sitting at your desk, just on a smaller screen. 

A VNC software package must be installed on the server, to allow Mocha VNC
access to the server.

Other servers exists, such as TightVNC, but not all supports the ZRLE encoding technology,
which is preferred for low band width situations.

If the UNIX/Linux version of realvnc is used, it is possible to select
the size of the server screen with parameter -geometry.

   -geometry 800x600

gives a useful screen and requires limited band width.


Functionality 
=============
- VNC Protocol with encoding types : Raw,CopyRect,Hextile,ZRLE and Zlib
- SSH2 tunnel encryption option. 
- Render the a page to a full screen, and offer 2 different 
  views (compressing) of the large screen on the smaller Palm screen. 
- Easy scroll mode with the arrow keys. 
- Free upgrades to new versions of the product. 
- Low cost : Single User license 20 USD or 200 USD for a Company License. 

Limitations 
===========
- No sound or clipboard support 
- The VNC protocol requires some band width. We recommend using a Wireless 
  LAN solution. Using a slow GPS phone cannot be recommended

Mocha VNC is sold as shareware. The VNC Servers and some clients are released
with a GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE. Our product does not use any code from
these projects, and is build from the public available VNC protocol description.

*** Installation ***

    - unpack files with a zip utility, into a temporary catalog.
    - From Windows explorer click on the vnc.sis file and your
      PsiWin program will complete the installation.
